This cable connects your music / media device to your car (or home) stereo via a double RCA AUX input socket. This will allow you to listen to your music, audiobooks, podcasts as well as the sound from other applications through your car's stereo system.
The cables have a robust design with dual moulded, ergonomically designed connecters, made from quality touch plastic. This means they last longer, are easy to hold and are durable enough for usage in the car and at home.
The cables have 24k gold plated 3.5mm plugs and a low loss wire core to ensure great sound quality that lasts. All cables are made without the use of hazardous substances and are RoHS compliant.
The cables are compatible with home or car stereos which have an RCA (Left/Right) AUX input. RCA inputs consist of two sockets with red & white plastic surrounds. Most home stereos, home cinema systems, TVs, amplifiers and Hi-Fis have these inputs. Additionally many French cars, including Renaults, Peugeots and Citroens have RCA inputs (normally located in the glove box, armrest or centre console).
Our cable is compatible any media device with a normal 3.5mm headphone socket. This includes all iPods, all recent iPhones (including all iPhone 5S, 5C, 5, 4S, 4 and 3G models) all iPads, and most tablets, smartphones and mp3 players.
If you have a case fitted to your device however, we recommend buying our Stepped Slimline RCA AUX-IN Cable [Embed link to steppedslimlinercaauxcable.html], which fits through cases.
How do I use it?
i. Plug the grey end of the cable into the headphone socket of your media player.
ii. Plug the other end of the cable into your car RCA AUX-IN socket.
iii. Place your car stereo into AUX mode. (Normally there is an AUX or source button on the radio).
iv. Click play on your media player. Then turn up the volume on your media player to around 75%. Finally adjust your stereo volume as necessary.
